Rain Barrels

The Conservation Foundation has a catalog of recent webinars on a variety of topics.  The annual  Conservation @ Home program that Batavia hosts will not happen in person this year due to ongoing construction at City Hall; instead you can watch one of their previously taped  webinars.  You can watch this at your leisure along with any of their other taped webinars on the Conservation Foundation's YouTube channel.  Enjoy learning more about rain barrels and what makes a rain garden as well as how to certify your home with Conservation @ Home videos.

About Rain Barrels

Rain barrels are simply large containers that capture rainwater at the end of your downspout, which you can then use to water plants, wash your car and further reduce your water bill while also reducing polluted runoff from getting to our rivers and streams.
