Curbside Recycling

City of Batavia residents are encouraged to participate in the curbside recycling program. Recycling carts are provided to residents at no charge and a sticker is not required for collection. Contact Groot Industries at at batavia@groot.com, or visit groot.com, or call 630-892-9294  to change sizes or order a cart if you are a new owner and do not already have one. 

Unlimited recyclable materials are collected on your current day of service. Recyclable materials in the cart do not need to be separated from each other. Please place only approved recycling items in the recycling cart. The collector is trained to check the contents of the cart. If there are foreign materials present, the cart will be left with a violation notice.
