NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to all persons concerned that on the 17th day of May, 2023 at 7:00 p.m., the Plan Commission of the City of Batavia will meet and a Public Hearing will be held in the City Council Chambers in the City of Batavia Municipal Building, 100 N. Island Avenue, Batavia. The Public Hearing will be held pursuant to Chapters 5.2 and 5.4 of the Batavia Zoning Code (City Code Title 10) to consider a Conditional Use Permit for a Brewery/Distillery with a Tap Room, over 5,000 square feet, in an existing building in the DMU Downtown Mixed Use Zoning District.
The subject property containing the building in which the Brewery/Distillery with a Tap Room is proposed is located at 131 Flinn St, Batavia, IL (PIN 12-22-256-009). The property is zoned DMU Downtown Mixed Use. The applicant for the requested Conditional Use Permit is the tenant of the property, Michael J. Read (Grainology BrewStillery), 845 Woodland Avenue, Batavia IL 60510. The property owner is Building 001 LLC, 140 First Street, Batavia, IL 60510.
