NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given to all persons concerned that on the 20^th day of September, 2023, at 7:00 p.m, the Plan Commission of the City of Batavia will meet and a Public Hearing will be held pursuant to Chapters 5.2 and 5.7 of the Batavia Zoning Code (City Code Title 10) to consider amendments to the text of the Zoning Code, Title 10 of the Batavia City Code. The proposed text amendments would amend the following Chapters or Sections:

• Modify Section 4.101 to add Americans with Disability Act accommodations for allowed encroachments into building setback areas.
• Modify Section 4.103 to modify lighting regulations.
• Modify Section 4.111 to exempt buildings in the DMU - Downtown Mixed Use Zoning District from Sight Distance Triangle regulations.
• Modify Section 4.217 to relocate truck and semi-trailer parking dimensions to section 4.205.
• Modify Section 4.205 to add truck and semi-trailer parking dimensions.

The meeting’s agenda will be posted a minimum of 72 hours before the meeting at: www. bataviail.gov/agendacenter. Public comments may be emailed to drackow@bataviail.gov prior to 5:00 PM the date of meeting for entry into the hearing public record.

Information regarding the proposed amendments is available for review at the Community and Economic Development Department in the City of Batavia Government Center Building during normal business hours. You may also contact the Community Development Department at 630-454-2700.
