“As a reporter I was always fascinated by all aspects of municipal government. Now that I'm serving on council (instead of covering the meetings for the newspaper), I love being an advocate for my neighbors. I see the bigger picture, and I realize that I'm making decisions for my neighbors as well as those who will live here in 50 or 100 years.”
Originally appointed to the city council by the mayor in May 2010, Dan was first elected in April 2011.
