Jeffery Schielke has been Mayor of Batavia since 1981 and thus qualifies as one of the longest-serving Mayors in Illinois. He is a graduate of both Aurora University (IL) and Waubonsee Community College (IL) and is a Distinguished Alumni of both institutions.
