Celebrate Independence Day at Batavia's annual Fireworks Sky Concert on Saturday, July 4. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. and conclude at approximately 10 p.m.
Public viewing areas are available at Engstrom Park (Main Street at Millview Drive) and the Batavia High School athletic practice fields between Main Street and W. Wilson Street. Food vendors will be available at Engstrom Park beginning at 5 p.m.
For everyone's safety, alcoholic beverages and dogs are prohibited in all event observation areas. Fireworks and sparklers are also strictly prohibited within Batavia city limits.
Motorists should expect significant traffic impacts before and after the event. Beginning at 7:30 p.m., Main Street will be closed between Feece Drive and S. Please plan ahead, follow posted detours, allow extra travel time, and drive patiently as you travel to and from the event.
In the event of inclement weather, the Sky Concert will be moved to Sunday, July 5.
