The City will begin lead service line replacements on N. Prairie Street from Wednesday, June 4, through Friday, June 13 (weather permitting). Work will occur during daytime hours only, and detours will be in place only while crews are actively working.

Due to the nature of the work and traffic speeds on N. Prairie Street, temporary one-block detours will be implemented around active construction zones. The road will be fully reopened to normal traffic outside of working hours.

Please watch for posted signs and detour routes, and use caution when traveling through the area. A Changeable Message Sign (CMS) is currently in place to alert drivers of the upcoming work.
