The City of Batavia is seeking qualified developers to partner in redeveloping a key downtown property along North River Street. The 0.68-acre City-owned site, adjacent to the Fox River and River Street entertainment district, offers a prime opportunity for a high-quality mixed-use project that enhances Batavia’s historic downtown.
Proposals are due by noon on December 22, 2025. The City envisions a project up to four stories in height with ground-floor commercial uses and potential upper-story residential or office space.
The redevelopment supports goals outlined in the Batavia Downtown Plan, adopted in 2024, which calls for a vibrant, walkable, and economically resilient city center.
