The Kane County Division of Transportation will host a Public Information Meeting on proposed transportation improvements along Fabyan Parkway between IL Route 25 and IL Route 31 on May 20.
The project focuses on the heavily traveled Fabyan Parkway and Route 31 intersection, where the angled roadway alignment has contributed to congestion and a high number of turning and rear-end crashes. Proposed improvements are intended to improve safety, traffic flow, and intersection capacity while also considering bicycle and pedestrian accommodations, the Fox River bridge, nearby trails, and the Route 25 intersection.
The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, at Covenant Living at the Holmstad in the Commons Building Auditorium. The meeting will be conducted in an open house format, allowing residents to attend at any time during the event. Project exhibits will be on display and members of the project team will be available to answer questions.
Residents may also submit comments and questions through June 26, 2026, by email at fabyanIL31intersection@hrgreen.com.
Additional project information is available at fabyanil31intersection.com.
