The City of Batavia will be performing preventative maintenance on two City bridges beginning June 9:
🔹 Wilson Street/Donovan Bridge over the Fox River
🔹 Deerpath Road Bridge over Mill Creek
Work includes pressure washing and sealing bridge decks to help extend the life of these structures and reduce long-term maintenance costs.
What to expect:
✔️ Both bridges will remain open
✔️ Daily lane closures and shifting traffic
✔️ Temporary parking impacts near the Wilson Street/Donovan Bridge
✔️ Deerpath Road Bridge may be reduced to one lane with flaggers directing traffic
Work is expected to take approximately 2–3 weeks, weather permitting.
