Road crews will begin removing the existing asphalt surface from streets scheduled for resurfacing on the City’s west side beginning Monday, Aug. 24. Streets will remain open, but motorists should expect flaggers, temporary lane closures and delays. Please obey construction signage and use extra caution when traveling through work zones.

Sidewalk removal work on the west side also begins Monday. Areas where sidewalk has been removed will be clearly marked with traffic-control devices. Sidewalk replacement and repair continues throughout the City in coordination with the street resurfacing program.

Residents should expect construction equipment, temporary lane restrictions and brief delays in active work areas.
