The City of Batavia’s Information Technologies Department keeps our city connected and running smoothly. Their responsibilities include installing and supporting computers, peripherals, networking, mobile devices, internal phones, software applications, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for City staff.
Our I.T. team includes an Information Technology Director, Systems Manager, Technician, and GIS Analyst—working together to provide cost-effective technology solutions that help us better serve Batavia residents every day.

The City of Batavia is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the City Council in the 7th Ward. The position is to serve the unexpired term of Sarah Volgelsinger, which runs through 2029. The deadline to apply is Friday, Sept. 19, 5 p.m.

Thanks to funding from the Non-Reusable Bag Fee, residents can purchase a high-quality, locally grown tree at a discounted rate — planting and mulch included!
Key details:

🌿City will ensure proper spacing and utility clearance.

Starting Wednesday, July 30, a section of the Fox River Trail will be closed for sewer work—from Water and Main streets (north) to Union Street and Pamarco Drive (south).
